G.Skill, a popular RAM kit manufacturer has today announced newer RAM kits in the Trident Z5 lineup. The two different RAM kits will be available under the Trident Z5 Neo and Trident Z5 Royal Neo series for high-performance systems. Whether users own an AMD-based system or an Intel one, each of these kits will have a dedicated edition for stable and optimized profiles.

The Trident Z5 Neo already exists for DDR5 platforms but currently, the frequency is limited to 5600MHz-6000MHz for the 16GB RAM modules. The newer series will offer up to 6400MHz of frequency but on tighter timings. Both the Trident Z5 Neo and Royal Neo memory kits will offer 32GB(2x 16GB) kits, clocked at 6400MHz at CL30-39-39-102 timings. These will be faster than the existing RAM kits in the Trident Z5 lineup and will have separate editions for AMD and Intel systems.

The RAM kits will offer support for AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0, overclocking these RAM kits will be hassle-free and will require a 1-click overclock from the BIOS. With 6400MHz on AMD platforms, the performance will see a noticeable performance boost in memory-oriented apps and gaming as well. This will be ideal for the latest Ryzen 9000-based systems where users want to achieve the best possible performance.

The Trident Z5 Neo boasts an elegant design with RGB lighting on top of the heat spreaders while the Roal Neo features a premium design with the iconic crown jewel crystalline design with built-in RGB lighting. These are usually more expensive than the usual Neo series but are distinguished in aesthetics.

Currently, there is no word on the pricing of these RAM kits but they will be available worldwide in late August 2024.
