POCO has revealed that its next flagship-killer lineup, the F8 series, will launch globally on November 26 at an event in Bali, Indonesia. The brand is expected to focus on two devices initially, the F8 Pro and the F8 Ultra.
Flagship-level processors and Bose-tuned audio in play
Leaks and certification leads suggest the F8 Pro will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the F8 Ultra is expected to step up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. POCO also confirmed that the series will feature audio “tuned by Bose”, pointing to improved speaker systems and sound quality.
Premium display, cameras and charging rumours
According to rumours, the F8 Pro could come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display at 120 Hz refresh rate and around 3,500-nit peak brightness. Rear camera setup might include 50 MP main, 8 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP telephoto lenses. The battery is tipped at around 7,100 mAh with 100W wired charging. On the other hand, the F8 Ultra may offer a larger 6.9-inch HDR10+ display, triple 50 MP rear cameras and possibly wireless charging support of 50W alongside 100W wired charging.
Global rollout first, India timeline unclear
While the launch date is locked in for the global market, POCO has not confirmed when the series will come to India. Some reports suggest India might have to wait or only receive select variants of the lineup.
Implications for POCO and smartphone buyers
For POCO, this launch marks a clear push into premium territory, not just budget or mid-premium phones, but devices matched to flagship spec levels. For consumers, it means more choice if you’re looking for high performance (top chipset, high-refresh display, strong cameras) without paying ultra-premium brand pricing. However, buyers should watch for real-world pricing, local variant differences (battery size, wireless charging, region-specific design), and timing in their markets.
If POCO nails the price-to-spec ratio, the F8 series could upset the flagship tier. If there are compromises or delayed regional availability, the lead may narrow.
