Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch its first tri-folding smartphone, possibly named the Galaxy Z TriFold, on December 5, 2025, according to multiple leaks originating from South Korean media and industry tipsters.
A Radical Foldable Design Takes Shape
According to the leaks, Samsung’s upcoming tri-fold device will fold inward twice, allowing it to transition from a 6.5-inch cover display into a full 10-inch inner screen when unfolded. The design reportedly achieves a thickness of just 4.2 mm when open, and around 14 mm when folded. The handset is expected to be equipped with a large battery, 5,600 mAh, which would surpass the capacity of Samsung’s existing foldables.
