Alien Isolation 2 Rumored to be in the Making

This might be too good to be true but here are the details!

The report is a rumor from a former employee, which suggests that the developer Creative Assembly is already on its making for a few years. It feels too good to be true but could be a reality soon.

A former employee breaks the news that Alien Isolation 2 is in the making

Fans of Alien Isolation have been asking for a sequel to this classic horror title for years. As the original game is about to turn 10 on 6th October, the report of Alien Isolation 2 being in preparation has appeared out of nowhere. Just a few hours ago, the leak was posted in the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours by the user Arrick, stating that he got the information about the sequel from a former employee at Creative Assembly.

While he talked about more related stuff, Alien Isolation 2 game development looked particularly surprising since there wasn’t any official information about the game. Apparently, the game has been already in the making for 3 years. The storyline will continue with the journey of Amanda Ripley, the protagonist of the original game but events from Alien: Blackout will be excluded.

The Alien: Blackout is a mobile game, which is headed to a different storyline but the official PC sequel should continue the storyline of the original title. Nonetheless, take this rumor with a grain of salt until we see some solid leaks. Still, it will be big to have the second installment in the series and it is possible that the Alien Isolation 2 will be announced at Gamescom by the developer. Moreover, the official VR release is also expected with a remastered edition of the original game to celebrate the 10-year anniversary.

The leaker says that all these can be revealed together at Gamescom but the games are expected to launch in the following years. While the VR title is said to be released in 2025 to avoid competing with Rogue Incursion, the sequel Alien Isolation 2 is more likely to be revealed in 2026.
