Radeon RX 9070 XT And RX 9060 XT Enter Steam Charts Nearly One Year After Release

RDNA 4 is finally visible in the Steam database

The Radeon RX 9070 XT sees a Sudden Jump in Share With 1.33% While RX 9060 XT Hits 0.72% Share in the May Steam Hardware Survey

The latest Steam Hardware Survey has been released, and it appears that we overlooked some new entries in the GPU segment. According to the May 2026 survey, the popular RDNA 4 GPUs have finally made an entry into the charts, which remained invisible for almost a year. As of now, only the RX 9070 has appeared in the Steam charts since launch while the more popular RX 9000 GPUs remained completely missing in almost every survey in the past 12 months.

Nonetheless, the flagship RDNA 4 GPU has finally been listed in the latest Steam survey with a good share of 1.33%. It’s a big jump in the very first month of its appearance, but it seems like there must have been an issue in Steam’s reporting, which is why it remained invisible for so many months after the launch. Over a 1% share isn’t small, as many popular GPUs are currently sitting between 1-2% of shares on Steam. It will still take a good amount of time for the RX 9070 XT to climb the chart, as it’s its debut.

RX 9070 XT remains the most popular RX 9000 series GPU, offering 16 GB VRAM and performance equivalent to RTX 5070 Ti for a much lower price. Since its launch, the GPU has been selling like hotcakes in almost every region and has been sitting at the top of the best-selling GPU charts on major retailers. That said, the RX 9060 XT has now started following it with around 0.72% of total share as per the latest Steam survey.

Despite selling as one of the most popular budget GPUs, it remained invisible in the Steam charts since its launch, and similar to the RX 9070 XT, it’s its first debut. While 0.72% isn’t a big share, it’s still significant considering it’s the first appearance. However, it will take a lot of time to close the gap on the RTX 5060 Ti, which remains one of the most popular GPUs on Steam with over 2% share.
